hello.

the sick chicken turned 22 today. thks all for the wishes. :)

the mum cooked chilli crab. yummy! and the clever sick chicken wore white(and its the sec 5 shirt!! :( ). so sad, gotta throw the shirt away cos its full of chilli. haha. then in the aft, went yishun to shop with juli. walk, walk, see, see and bought some stuffs. walked at the new shopping ctr. both of us were so fascinated. it was quite wow. haha.

then had delifrance for dinner. and phk could join us! (yay!) talk cock and laugh a lot. had a mini celebration there. thks juli! but phk gave me a surprise too. when she told us that her very own camera got a 25 secs self-timer. no, it was 2.5 secs. but actually it was a pathetic 2 secs. haha. u really made us laugh lah, woman!

then something happen in the toilet. something to do with my butt. damn it. hahaha. something that i wont forget my whole life, an incident to remind me of my 22nd bday. haha. :)

flu bug.

hello.

nat was down with flu. and thks to me cos she shared the pepsi with me last thur. poor kak zu, who was hoping that she will get my flu bug, but she didnt. haha. and surprisingly kak su who has sensitive nose didnt get it. haha. dont ask bout our jana k, i think she has got super high immune system. haha.

hopefully juli and t-rex wont get my flu bug too. i was coughing like hell in the car yest. haha. and serve me right cos my cough is still bad. i shisha-ed yest. haha. but it was too strong. we were quite high aft few puffs. haha.

and i joined a group in facebook, "BEHIND EVERY DOCTOR, IS A SKILLED INTELLIGENT NURSE THAT SAVES THEIR ASS". hahah. i think its so true. hahaha.
there's few comments given by nurses all over the world. some really got me smiling. haha.

-A Stat bannana for a potassium of 3.5
-One to two beers od/prn... on a lady who was taking thickend fluids. Who wants to drink thickened beer?? Gross.
-"please take patient outside BD to see the squirrels"
-This one cracked me up...CPR PRN...are you serious?!?
-My first day of clinicals as a nursing student the nurse told me, "Whatever you learn as a student, never forget that doctors mess up and keep an eye on first year residents!" I asked why and she told me, "last week I had a first year ask me to flush an IV with tap water."

ps: sometimes i need someone to slap my face lah. i either say the wrong thing or at the wrong time. haha. damn it.

5 rest days.

hello.

so many to update. well, lets start with my shift this week.
night: sunday 09.10.08 to tues 11.10.08.
sd: wed 12.10.08
do: thur 13.10.08 (and we had our secret meeting! ;) )
mc: fri 14.10.08 to sat 15.10.08
rd: sunday 16.10.08

hahaha. envy me ppl. i rested for 5 days at home. heh. but it sucks to be sick. :( haha.

night shift was fun. 1st night there's a np guy to talk cock with. 2nd and 3rd night, don't ask. cos its with mummy! haha. night will never be boring with mummy ard.

on sd rested at home. on my do, went out with the gang for another secret outing. the funny thing was, i'm trying to plan to celebrate j's bday, but didnt knw that j was trying to plan for my bday. hhaha. thks babes! it was so sweet. and to celebrate it at btp was even sweeter. haha. :)

took mc yest and today. had fever, and my cough was so bad tat im wheezing. tmr's my rd. woohoo! and monday doing night again. haahah. feels like im permanent night lah. haha.

and my ex-crush is engaged. and getting married soon. haiz. now gotta find another target. haha

and i guess everyone has heard the story bout the guy who committed suicide and the white tigers, right? well, that pic was taken last yr when me, juli and sy went to the zoo. we were so fascinated by the tigers. haha. but seriously, there's other ways to commit suicide. and white tiger are not cruel, they're pretty. :)

hello.

going on night shift tonight.

and i got a new crush. but he's wearing a ring on his left middle finger. does it mean anything?? anyway, i already told nat to help me see if there's any engravement. haha. if he's single and available, means im one step closer to my dream. hahahah

and if im night in team 1 means he will be the one reading my report. but sadly, im team 2. and the devil will read mine. :( and the devil is so pathetic. she needs assistance to insert cath on a drowsy pt. haha. madness!

my ph and do.

hello.

had 2 days off, ph and do. rest at home. haha.

went to ikea yest with the bro and mother. walk here and there, take things here and there. we spent $100++ okay. hahaha.

went geylang today. then we saw some suria actors doing some filming. me and mum were trying not to bump into them. and the very best part, when we were busy buying things at one of the grocery store, the casts came. haha. lucky i was quick to hide. i guess they got a shot of my mum. haha.

then in the evening, went out with kak su and kak zu(haha) for congress shopping. actually the one in need for congress shopping was kak su, but in the end, all of us bought, at least, 2 things each. haha. and i'll be alone tmr. i guess the non-malays will bully me tmr. =/

and hopefully i'll get to meet my darlings next week. and hopefully the secret meeting for our next outing will be well-planned. kak zu, you better plan a good outing ah. haha. i dont know when will the next secret meeting with the other grps of friend will be. haha. u guys knw who you are. =p

few days/weeks entry.

hello.

been so long since i last updated. i guess this must be a super long entry. haha. few embarrassing moments that happened.

embarrassing moment 1:
i was sending a hearing impairment pt down to business office to collect his properties. we're shouting(aka talking) to each other normally at the office with a lot of other ppl ard us. suddenly he shouted(aka talked) asking me how much is my pay. so i just smile and he asked if its $1500. i smiled and i can sense that all eyes is on me. he shouted(aka talked) again, asking if my pay is $1000. so i just smile and nod. hahaha. goodness!!

embarrassing moment 2:
i was asking few qns to a newly admitted old lady but she only gave me the blur look. few mins later cute dr and consultant was asking whether we get any history frm family regarding pt and i said no and i told them the experience i had when i was asking her qns. immediately the consultant told cute dr to order for ct brain cos he wants tro stroke. when pt's daughter came, then only i knw that pt's having a super-duper bad hearing impairment. hahahha.

embarrassing moment 3:
i was doing jr with one of the best incharge in team 2 last sun. and its been soo many donkey days since i last went to team 2. and there's this irritating man who always press the callbell non-stop. so while incharge was giving his meds, i was meddling with his drip and i saw his headboard. he's mandarin speaking with hearing impairment. so happily i talked to incharge in malay, in frnt of him. but i'll direct translate ah. haha
me: this is the uncle who's very troublesome right? zu: nolah. this uncle is very nice. (and giving me some hints saying that uncle can understand malay very well)
goodness!! i felt so very paiseh okay. and according to incharge, his hearing impairment is not that bad. *slaps forehead*

then lets talk bout night safari. went there not once, but twice. haha. for the 1st one, gotta pay. 2nd was free. haha. 1st one was a secret outing with some colleagues. it was fun! 2nd was with juli and t-rex. its weekdays. so there's not much ppl. shiok! dunno when will be the next secret outing with friends. hmm..

and for the 1st time in my life, a doctor told me that i talk to much. hahaha. and he even said that he wants at least a minute of silence. and whenever i told him something, he will reply that he didnt hear anything. haha. irritating! we'll be getting new team drs. :( really miss the prev team(and of course, my incharge's darling. haha) and heard that one of the ho in this new team has attitude. damn!

and i hate saturdays, esp when im in charge. my saturdays is always bad. dil active, pt passed away, came to work to receive 6 empty beds and etc. there's once when a pt passed away, i was quite scared cos i dont dare tell family that pt has passed away. buntis told me to tell family that dr will update. so when its only me n the dr behind the curtain(and together with the body. haha) i told the dr to inform relative. the great dr can ask me what shd he tell the family. hahah. so i told him to gv some reassurance to family. he can even ask me, "should i tell them something like, im sorry for ur loss..??" hahaha. he's so joke of the day.
