hello.

its my day off last fri. pm on sat, am on sun and day off again today. don't ask when's my next day off. haha. working for the past 2 days was fun. its great teamwork. its so nice. :) and i really like my jr yest. hahah.

went back with jr for the past 2 days. (and we saw SHEELA GRACE last sat. it was so nice bumping into her. :) ) and sometimes, i really need to strangle jr. cos she wana work as security guard if she cant work in cssd. tsk tsk. *slaps forehead*

chatted with ri yest. poor guy, he got into accident. haha. and his nick - "pls ride safely". hahah. funny lah he.

and i cant wait to go to night safari. must give juli a call. and set a date with her, phk and of course, mr pretty. :)

2 updates..

hello.

some updates to be done. latest was yest, 16.10.08, when all of us, (INCLUDING CLAIRE!, but w/o nat) went out to jalan raya. reached home frm work bout 5pm, shower then get ready. took bus to woodlands and when i reached the int, i realised that im the only one wearing baju kurung, apart frm the makciks who wore baju kurung to work. haha. called zu cos i felt super paiseh. hahah. met claire at admiralty since she's reaching. then walked to bib's hse. sue was the first to reach. and we saw syeera! :)

bib drove us yest okay. haha. not bad for someone with p-plate(unlike me haha). :) 2nd house was my house. then last house was sue's. so all of us started sharing all the nursing stories. the scary, funny and sad ones. haha. hope to catch up with these guys soon. :)

another update. last wed, 15.10.08, outing to vivo with darlings and "SY". haha. the real sy, aka our darling, mia-ing nowadays. i guess due to his classes.. coincidently its phk's off, im am shift and juli finished her research early. meet up at novena / newton first. im supposed to be boarding the train at novena when they reach. but the 2 clever souls, alighted from the train at novena. so in the end i alighted at newton and waited for the next train. grrr.

had lunch/dinner at secret recipe. we talk, laugh, eat and take pics. then later "SY'' came and join us. then we window-shopped ard vivo, then take pics outside. we really had so much fun. haha. then had desert at breeks, harbour front. then home we went. cant wait for next outing to night safari with them again. :)

miss vainpot.

hello.

finally the 3 nights is over. quite sad though. cos i think night shift is so nice, esp with mummy. haha.

1st night - okay.
2nd night - scary.
3rd night - tired, funny, okay.

dont care bout 1st night cos its okay. haha.

2nd night was scary. was writing my report when the great man came out and ask for coffee. i told him to gv me 5 mins (cos i feel like writing report is more impt although i knw that there's high risk that he might scold me with all the vulgarities in the world. haha). and suddenly the call bell started to ring and it shows MALE toilet. so i stop writing report cos answering call bell is more impt than report. haha. when i enter the toilet, i happily shouted, "yes, uncle", until my hair started standing cos there's no one inside. called mummy to company me to the toilet and truely, there's nobody. =/

3rd night, packed somebody. was quite busy with the ccod all. and first time in history, i served 6am r/t meds at 345, when mummy is busy sponging the pt. haha. (i knw preceptor, u didnt teach me that part. haha.) then there's this very cute demented uncle who's talking non-stop. and suddenly at 5am, he asked me how's business. hahahah. me and mummy were laughing like hell lah. haha. and i realise that dr su is cute, although he's a bit vertically challenge. haha. then home i went with mummy. :) oh, and i received an "apple" from a cute guy. haha. so does mama doris. haha. mummy felt like a prostitute ic when she saw her name. hahaha.

slept for 3 hours. woke up and meet juli at yishun cos miss vainpot wana perm her eyelashes. haha. then shopped a bit at northpt. then kak su joined us at mac. eat, drink, talk and laugh a lot. then home we went bout 5 plus. then planned to watch movie with juli. sadly phk is night shift. :( decided to watch at amk. then juli msged saying pretty boy wanna join, so change of plan. watch at balestier instead. then pretty boy cant make it, so back to plan a, to watch at amk. then pretty boy last min said that he can make it, so we watch at balestier instead. ahhaha. watch big stan. funny like hell lah the show. haha. then went to ward for a while to take piriton for my mum. saw mummy! :)

hectic sat.

hello.

yest was a super hectic day for most of us. haha. but a good learning experience though. :) too many happenings that happened..

DIL ACTIVE
during am meds time, ql found out that a dil active pt's spo2 drop to 79% on 3l o2. so she did suctioning and we increase the o2 to 4l. so i cont to serve the other pts meds and then get back to her. her spo2 is only 84%. informed the team and they immediately see her. she's on 100% o2 and her spo2 was 93%. so i thought everything's okay when suddenly the mo came to me and kak su saying they wana intubate her. i panicked like hell okay. lucky got kak su. haha. pushed the e-trolley and kak su became the drug nurse while my ex-mangkuk, buntis, prepare ett. i duno what i was doing but what i knw i was running to get stuffs lah.

suddenly the reg wants us to prepare fast drip ns and the first 2 words that came out frm my mouth(and the nm was behind me) was OH SHIT. haha. i wanted to run out to get it until nm told me to relax and said that everything is IN the trolley itself. hahaha. goodness. if i was alone i think i would be the next one that needs intubation. haha. aft intubated, send her up to icu. at icu, she got lots of secretions coming out from her mouth, and i, the one nearest to her head, started suctioning her without wearing a mask. thank god i was wearing a gloves. and thank god she's mrsa wound. hahah.

on the way back, i felt funny cos ql and kak su was pushing the bed and im only shaking my hands. so i stole alcohol wipes frm 5b to wipe the casesheet and i saw my cute dr lah! haha. dont play2 okay, he's taking parameter somemore. how i wish im daring enough to say hello to him. hahaha.

bp drop
came back to ward, kak idah told me 2 pts bp was low. lucky the reg was there. she double confirmed and its still low. and she set plug lah okay! haha. she actually asked me if im new and asked me if thats my 1st time seeing pt being intubated in the ward. haha. i think the world is going to end. aft setting plug all, both pts bp became okay. phew!

lucky nat helped me took hc for female side and zu took my male side. many2 thank u to them. :)

discharges
kak su helped me with my discharges. phew! terima kasih lah byk2 eh. hee. :) halfway seeing my changes suddenly i realised that no one have seen my cvm pt till nat told me that my cute dr is the one who sees him. haha. actually ah, i thought he's not covering our ward, but im wrong. haha.

aft passing report, just only realised that we forgot to change the drug kit. asked the pm ppl for help but no one wants to help. they say they're busy.. *rolls eyes* so i got no choice but to tell ccb. hahah. told her the whole story bout how all of us were so busy, and dr's rounds was so damn slow and she said its okay. phew! haha.

reached home, there's relatives. non-stop till 12 plus. by the time the last guests came bout 11, i served their drinks and went to slp. haha. too tired lah.

forever 21.

hello.

its my AL today. not that i want it, but i was forced to just shut up and take it. jfjkgjfk.

and just some random info. i broke my vacuum plug on the eve of hari raya. thank god i already vacuum the whole house before i accidentally broke it. and its so sad to function without a vacuum cos it means i gotta do a last min sweeping instead of last min vacuuming. dont understand? nvm. :(

on hari raya day, while washing the dirty plates and glass, i accidentally broke a glass. poor my dad got to clean up the mess. haha. and im the one who broke the glass, but my dad is the one who stepped on it. hee. but noworries, i managed to save his feet. heh.

today i went out to compass point to settle a lot of last min things. while waiting for bus, i was focusing on 3 primary sch kids who look like they're only p3 or p4. and suddenly i saw something that gave me the shock of my life. one of the girl wore a pink bra okay!! i remember during pri sch days i only wear singlet lah. at the most also, half singlet. haha. she's wearing a damn bra lah. pink somemore. hahaha. *slaps forehead* i think the world is ending soon. haha.

last but not least, i wana wish a HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY TO JULIANA SALI!! :) well, as for me, im the only one among the clique who still ends with the n0 1. heh. im forever 21. =p and i miss them very, very much. lets meet up soon k babes, and err, 1 hunk. haha.

my 2nd ramadan.

hello.

firstly, selamat hari raya to all muslims. :)

so tired. slept close to 2am and work am the next day. haha. the relatives came non-stop yest. and i got flu. uurrgh!

in the morn it was drizzling. so i told my uncle that i'll take cab. i thought i wanna rest in the cab but the uncle was talking non-stop. haha.

at work, something super funny in a scary way happen. a malay auntie (who's son is so super duper good-looking) needs to go icu urgently for dialysis. i was halfway toc-ing her till nat (my ic today) came in to say that we got to send her stat cos its so urgent as pt is dying. goodness! so without any choice left, the 2 great human being who happen to be me and nat send the auntie up, together with our 2 mths old ho. hahah. it was so funny but its a gd learning experience. what makes it look so urgent is the stupid defib sound. haha. the "dying" auntie can laugh at us somemore. haha. and on our way home, met with the ho at the lift and we were laughing bout it. haha. but sadly today's her last day. :(

okay i got some planning to do. and i bought a adidas slipper for $17 only. hee.
